Job description
Young Engineers Toronto East End is hiring part-time Instructors, starting as soon as possible. You'll lead exciting, hands-on projects where kids design, build, and code their own creations—turning curiosity into real engineering and robotics skills.
In this role, you'll:
- Run engaging mechanical engineering, STEAM, and robotics activities that get kids thinking like engineers and artists
- Foster a fun, supportive classroom where young learners feel confident experimenting, problem-solving, and asking big questions
- Collaborate with a passionate team to deliver memorable afterschool programs, weekend workshops, Winter Break, March Break, and Summer Camps
You're a great fit if you:
- Have a genuine passion for learning, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of innovators (formal engineering background is a plus, but not required—training is provided)
- Believe every child can be a creator and problem-solver, and bring patience, empathy, and positive energy to the classroom
- Are reliable, energetic, and available afterschool and on weekends
