Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to assist with oversight of the company's accounting operations across multiple entities and regions. This role will be responsible for managing aspects of financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring compliance with Canadian, U.S., and U.K. accounting standards. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple business entities (Canada, USA, UK)
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Perform account reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, and intercompany billings
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team to manage collections and cash flow
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, corporate reporting, and audit requirements
  • Work closely with the Controller and executive leadership on financial strategy and cost control
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel when required
  • Identify process improvements and implement accounting best practices and automation tools
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting for management and investors

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA designation preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (preferably in multi-entity or multinational environments)
  • Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP; familiarity with U.S. and U.K. reporting standards an asset
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, or similar accounting platforms
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills
  • Must be able to understand and learn quickly using various online systems and tools
  • Work through problem solving and analysis independently
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly
  • Experience in the marketing, technology, or digital advertising industry is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,931.70-$125,000.00 per year
