Location: Village Church Calgary
We're looking for a passionate and relational leader to serve as our Youth & Young Adult Associate. This person will shape and lead dynamic, gospel-centered ministry for students and young adults at our Calgary site. You'll build community, develop leaders, and create spaces where people encounter Jesus and grow as disciples.
What You'll Do- Provide vision and leadership for Youth and Young Adult ministries.
- Plan and lead weekly Jr./Sr. Youth programs and monthly Young Adult gatherings.
- Recruit, train, and care for volunteer leaders.
- Teach and disciple students and young adults, fostering spiritual growth.
- Partner with the Family Ministries Pastor for larger events and initiatives.
- Manage budgets, logistics, and program excellence.
- Build a culture of prayer, community, and outreach.
- Deep love for Jesus and alignment with Village Church's mission and values.
- Demonstrated passion for discipling youth and young adults.
- Strong relational and leadership skills—able to build trust and develop others.
- Theological training or equivalent ministry experience.
- Organized, dependable, flexible, and teachable.
- Comfortable leading in a fast-paced, creative ministry environment.
- You want to see the next generation grow in their faith and impact their community.
- You enjoy working with a collaborative, supportive team.
- You thrive in creating fun, meaningful, and gospel-centered spaces.
Vacation: 3 weeks
