If you have a thirst for personal growth, a dynamic personality, and a strong interest in the construction field, this is a job for youWe are looking for an Accounts Receivable Administrator to join us for an in-office role at either our Toronto ON or London ON office. A bilingual english/french candidate will be strongly preferred for this role.Job Responsibilities: Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, posting and depositing accounts receivableProcess incoming payments including cash, cheques, credit card transactions, direct deposits and etransfers from the AR inboxReconcile accounts to ensure all payments are accounted for and posted properlyVerify discrepancies and resolve customer invoicing issuesFacilitate payment of past due invoices by sending payment inquires by phone and email while maintaining positive customer relationsGenerate and distribute monthly customer statementsDistribute invoices to customers by email/mailPrepare and distribute Statutory Declaration to customers for payments receivedParticipate in holdbacks by reviewing contracts, billing line entry and invoicing where required, and completing follow up calls for non-problematic accounts.Complete financing paperwork for customers approved through third party financingPost monthly credits to accounts for overbilling/defective workMonitor delinquent accounts and recommend for further collection actionMonitor accounts valued over $5,000.00 and recommend for construction lien if necessaryPrepare documents for construction liens where necessaryPrepare delinquent files for Small Claims Court where necessaryRequirements: Strong verbal and written communication skillsSolid understanding of accounting principles and collection regulationsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent customer service, negotiations and conflict resolution skillsAbility to multi taskSolid understand of the Construction Act and the Construction Lien ActKnowledge of SAP Knowledge of the construction industry Collection experience We thank all applicants in advance for their interest in this position, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
