Job Summary:
As a Customer Service & Exportation Administrator, you'll work from our head office in Brockville, Ontario, located near the banks of the St. Lawrence River in the 1000 Islands. Your role will be focused on providing excellent customer service for customers looking to place an order or receive a quote, processing the orders/quotes, and assisting with daily product pricing. In addition to customer support (orders, quotes, and pricing), you will be responsible for processing export documentation for new international orders and returns, managing our customs inbox, and applying appropriate HS codes, CERS/Commercial Invoices, and CUSMA and other export compliance documentation.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- A background/training in exports/imports.
- Customer service experience/aptitude.
- Proficient computing skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills (ideally in both English and French).
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Detail oriented and able to work independently and with a team
Daily functions will include but are not limited to:
- Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer support to our valued customers via email and phone, helping them resolve challenges and answer inquiries related to orders, quotes, and pricing. - Internal Support:
Collaborate closely with internal departments, freight forwarders and shipping companies to ensure smooth communication, customer support, and accurate pricing and export information for quotes, orders, and products. - Export Knowledge:
Complete export/import documentation for international orders and returns. Organize customs documentation, including HS codes and pricing (CUSMA, CERS, Commercial Invoices, etc.).
