Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada FreshBooks Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

About The Role
We're looking for a
Partner Success Manager
to join our Business Development team to help scale FreshBooks' channel partner ecosystem. In this role, you'll own the success of a portfolio of partners, ensuring they are onboarded seamlessly, activated quickly, and driving mutually beneficial growth.

You'll act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships and enabling partners with the programs and insights they need to succeed. You'll also run joint QBRs to ensure partner alignment and momentum. Beyond today's portfolio, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our partnerships strategy.

We're looking for someone who thrives at managing relationships and owning growth strategies, a problem solver who takes initiative, influences across teams, and uses data and insights to guide partners toward meaningful results. Most importantly, you bring a 1 + 1 = 3 mindset, thriving on building partnerships that create outsized value for both our partners and our customers.

What You'll Do

  • Own Partner Success: Take end-to-end ownership of the health, growth, and revenue impact of your partner portfolio
  • Onboard & Enable: Lead onboarding for new channel partners, equipping them with training, resources, and playbooks to drive early activation.
  • Manage a Portfolio: Build trusted, long-term relationships with our most strategic partners, acting as their primary point of contact and delivering a seamless partner experience.
  • Activate Programs: Partner with Marketing and GTM teams to deliver joint campaigns for strategic partners and key verticals that build awareness and fuel acquisition.
  • Drive Growth: Run quarterly business reviews, set joint strategies, and hold accountability for acquisition and revenue targets tied to your partners.
  • Measure & Report: Track KPIs including lead referrals, conversions, pipeline contribution, and ARR/MRR impact; leverage data insights to optimize partner performance.
  • Shape the Future: Influence the evolution of FreshBooks' partner ecosystem and future partnership models.
  • Deep Product Expertise: Become an expert in FreshBooks' product, features, and workflows to guide partners in delivering maximum value to customers.

*What You Bring*

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in channel partnerships, partner sales, business development, or account management within SaaS, fintech, or B2B.
  • Proven experience building and executing partner programs and/or managing accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, confident working with both commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Solid negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence and align partners to mutual growth goals.
  • A commercial mindset — you connect partner activity directly to customer acquisition and revenue impact.
  • Strong organizational skills — you manage multiple priorities, track progress, and consistently deliver on targets.
  • Analytical mindset — you use data and performance metrics to drive decisions, optimize partner strategies, and demonstrate impact.
  • Experience with CRM or PRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

*You'll Stand Out If You Bring Experience In*

  • Building and scaling channel partnerships within a B2B SaaS organization.
  • Experience with financial management software or the SMB ecosystem.
