Daily duties:

Assist yard supervisor with:

o Preparing customer orders ensuring the exact number and product types are loaded according to company procedures

o Loading or unloading trucks/containers according to company procedures

o Re-pile product in racks to be stored

o Maintain a clean, organized yard by implementing daily housekeeping

o Accurate cycle counts

o Participate in safety meetings

o Assist with forklift level checks and inspections

Additional duties:

o Annual inventory

o Special projects

o Available for overtime hours, as required

o Other related duties as required or assigned

Must Have Requirements:

· Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

· Forklift certification

· 1-2 years of experience operating forklift in warehouse

· Minimum valid G2 license

· Own PPE, (work boots)

· Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team

· Commitment to adhere to all security and safety procedures

· Demonstrated keen attention to detail and task related accuracy, as well as consistent follow through, and good organizational skills

· Ability to remain focused for extended periods of time and react quickly in emergency situations

· Positive attitude with team members, customers and suppliers.

· Proficient in English communication; oral, written and reading

Additional Qualifications:

· Knowledge of system scaffold components

· Experience with warehouse and inventory control

· WHIMIS/safety training

· Valid order picker certification

· Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word

· Knowledge of Quickbooks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
