About Bakebe

Bakebe is Asia's first and most stylish co-baking space, originally from Hong Kong and the Philippines. Instead of a traditional baking school or bakery, Bakebe gives people the chance to bake beautiful cakes, pastries, and desserts using our app-based, step-by-step guidance system. Guests bake their own creations in-store—whether for birthdays, date nights, team-building, or just for fun.

Bakebe is all about creativity, community, and experience—a place where baking meets lifestyle. Now, we're bringing this one-of-a-kind concept to Markville Mall (Markham, ON) and are looking for passionate, energetic people to join our founding team.

Position: Retail Bakery Staff / Baker What You'll Do

Welcome and guide guests through the Bakebe experience with excellent hospitality.

Support customers in using our baking app and equipment to complete their chosen recipes.

Prepare baking stations, ingredients, and tools for daily operations.

Assist with decorating, presentation, and packaging of baked goods when needed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized baking studio environment.

Manage retail operations (POS, inventory, product sales, customer inquiries).

Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy hours, events, and private bookings.

What We're Looking For

Experience: Previous experience in a bakery, café, pastry kitchen, or hospitality setting is an asset.

Skills: Comfortable with baking techniques (mixing, decorating, oven management). Strong communication and customer service skills.

Personality: Friendly, energetic, patient, and loves working with people of all ages.

Team Player: Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Availability: Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
