Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing accurate financial information to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for effective bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in corporate finance activities including account analysis and budgeting processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance practices, auditing standards, and financial services regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.19 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
