We are a locally-run business specializes in crafting fresh, high-quality baked goods. Our bakery offers a variety of products, including bread, pastries, cookies, and other treats, often made with simple, homemade ingredients. We are focusing on creating an inviting atmosphere where customers can enjoy freshly baked items.

Ideal Applicant:

  • A candidate looking for a long-term employment and able to work any day of the week and including weekends
  • Clean and tidy appearance, while demonstrating professionalism
  • Have positive attitude and energetic with good communication and listening skills
  • Able to work well in a team setting
  • Punctual, responsible and respectful
  • A quick learner who can handle multi-tasking in a fast paced environment
  • Able to follow directions with good work ethics
  • Comfortable working with food handling and prep equipment
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Have their own transportation

Key Responsibilities / Job description:

  • Greet customers and provide fast, friendly service
  • Operate cash register and handle cash and debit transactions accurately
  • Provide excellent customer service in person and answer phone calls for customer inquiries & orders
  • Opening & closing duties
  • Assist with packaging, labelling, stock bakery and deli products
  • Organize and replenish food display areas
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • On-going cleaning throughout the store and ensure store cleanliness
  • Using meat slicer to prep deli meats & cheese to customer preference
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Raises are common for those who are responsible, self-motivated, take initiative and commit to work hours and duties.

Experience is an asset but not necessary. We will provide full training.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
