Position: Kitchener Store Manager

Reports to: Regional Manager

Compensation: Base salary + commission + bonus

Summary

SHOE PER is an independently owned family footwear store that carries current brands and styles for men women and children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sales performance, customer satisfaction, and staff training and development. You will work to foster client loyalty and expand our brand presence. The ideal candidate will spearhead these efforts with a customer-centric attitude.

The store manager will oversee all aspects of store performance through sales management, operational and personnel functions, as well as store visual aesthetics and environment. By initiating long-term strategies and company initiatives, the store manager will also ensure maximum productivity, profitability, operational excellence and compliance with company procedures.

Working conditions:

  • Full time
  • 37.5 + hours / week (excludes 30 minute lunch breaks)
  • Hours may include evenings and / or weekends
  • Overtime as required.

  • Must have at least 3-5 years of retail management experience

  • Courteous with staff and the public
  • Strong computer skills (Gmail, Calendars, Excel, Word)
  • Access to car / Drivers License
  • Some lifting 10 – 30 lbs.
