About The Role
Grade Level (for internal use):

automotiveMastermind is seeking a dynamic Enablement Content Developer to create and manage comprehensive sales and product training material for our Commercial understanding team members. This role involves assessing existing training materials and developing innovative resources that align with organizational goals and effectively educate our commercial teams and dealer partners.

The Role
As the Enablement Content Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-impact enablement content across Seismic, Thought Industries, and other platforms that support our commercial organization. You'll transform complex product and sales information into clear, engaging, and actionable resources that drive adoption, improve knowledge retention, and empower our Commercial teams to perform at their best, and increase our customers' platform knowledge.

This role requires a balance of creativity and structure: you'll not only produce high-quality materials such as playbooks, battlecards, training modules, and learning guides, but also implement processes and templates to scale content creation across the organization.

The ideal candidate excels at the intersection of
storytelling, instructional design, and sales enablement
—capable of transforming product updates and market insights into content that resonates and delivers measurable business impact.

What You'll Do

  • Content Creation & Curation
  • Design and develop engaging enablement content across multiple platforms.
  • Create playbooks, sales guides, customer-facing resources, and product-focused learning assets that simplify complexity and drive adoption.
  • Repurpose existing materials into fresh, engaging formats (microlearning, infographics, videos, templates, checklists).
  • Instructional Design & Storytelling
  • Apply adult learning principles to design experiences that resonate with sales teams and dealer partners.
  • Use narrative and storytelling techniques to bring playbooks and learning content to life—helping teams remember and apply concepts.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, design, and branding across all enablement content.
  • Collaboration & Alignment
  • Partner closely with Product Enablement, Marketing, Sales Leaders, and SMEs to translate product and process updates into actionable learning content.
  • Act as a bridge between internal teams (Commercial Enablement, Marketing, Product) to ensure content is timely, accurate, and impactful.
  • Gather feedback from end users to continuously refine and improve content.
  • Content Governance & Maintenance
  • Own the enablement content lifecycle: version control, auditing, archiving, and refreshing to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Maintain structured content libraries in Seismic, Thought Industries, and SharePoint for easy accessibility.
  • Measurement & Impact
  • Partner with the Enablement Tech Stack Analyst to track engagement and performance metrics.
  • Utilize data to continually enhance content effectiveness and learning outcomes.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3-5 years in content development, instructional design, or enablement within a B2B SaaS or high-growth environment.
  • Creative Communicator: Exceptional writing and design skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics into engaging stories and actionable tools.
  • Instructional Design Mindset: Skilled in adult learning methodologies and designing for multiple modalities (self-paced, ILT, virtual).
  • Digital Savvy: Proficient with tools such as Seismic, Thought Industries (or similar LMS), Microsoft Office, Articulate360, or video-editing/design software.
  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with strong prioritization skills.
  • Collaborative Partner: Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and marketing teams.
  • Learner-Centric: Passion for creating content that inspires behavior change and drives measurable outcomes.
  • Industry Experience: Familiar with SaaS offerings in retail automotive
