Overview

We are seeking a skilled Driller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment operation and construction, with a focus on drilling operations. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while performing drilling tasks in various environments. The Driller will work closely with other team members to ensure project goals are met on time and within specifications.

Duties

  • Operate drilling equipment, including horizontal drilling machines, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with crew members to plan and execute drilling operations effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all drilling activities.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the best drilling methods based on soil conditions and project requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of drilling activities, including depth, materials encountered, and any issues that arise during operations.

Skills

  • Proficient in operating various types of heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machinery.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance and repairs on drilling equipment.
  • Experience in commercial driving for transporting equipment and materials as needed.
  • Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.

Pay: $24.86-$41.04 per hour
