Hepburn Enterprises Inc. has built a solid reputation for delivering premium service and supplying brand name parts to customers in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and NW Ontario. We sell and service material handling equipment, as well as commercial landscaping, lawn maintenance and snow removal equipment.

We are currently looking to fill the hybrid role of Shipment Receiver & Yard Associate.

Job Description

· Ship out packages to customers and returns to vendors.

· Assist customers loading and unloading their equipment.

· Receive packages from vendors. (Unload, inspect, record and properly put away parts)

· Complete regular assessment of high frequency parts inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained.

· Assist customers with parts pick-ups.

· Complete annual inventory count.

  • Wash/steam clean customer equipment.

  • Grounds maintenance; mowing the lawn, snow removal, spreading salt or sand as required.

  • Start and move various types of equipment (lawn tractors, small construction, and material handling equipment).

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to enhance efficiency.

  • Duties will be both outdoors and indoors at all times of the year.

Candidate Qualifications

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Experience in a mechanical field would be considered an asset, but not required.

· Experience operating forklifts and small construction equipment would be an asset, but not required.

· Ability to establish priorities, work independently, problem solve and proceed with objectives without supervision.

· Experience working with computers and the aptitude to learn to use new programs and applications.

· Quick learner with a technical/mechanical aptitude.

· Valid Manitoba Driver's License.

· Can work quickly with a high tolerance for ambiguity.

· Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and interact with a positive and outgoing attitude.

· Organized, with an attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
