Pacific Ropes operates in a very special and niche market hidden in the corner of the construction world, called rope access. Essentially, our construction and rescue personnel work on a set of two ropes instead of relying on scaffolding or swing stages. We are a young and dynamic company, focused on providing safe and efficient work at height. Our teams are diverse but focused on bringing innovation, safety, mentorship, and collaboration into everything we do Right now, we are looking for an Operations Co-ordinator to assist in the day to day tasks of making sure our site projects run smoothly.

Responsibilities

· Put together required equipment to go out to jobs

· Helps clean, inspect, and organize equipment coming back from jobs

· Helps order required equipment and safety supplies for internal use

· Inputs required data into equipment tracking software

· Assists retail store in shipping out equipment orders

· Maintains the tidiness and cleanliness of the warehouse

· Using automated software, keeps track of rope access equipment inventory

· Keeps track of construction tools and equipment

· Assists in repairs of equipment

· Assists in appropriate disposal of damaged and retire equipment

· Adhere to Pacific Ropes safety protocols and procedures

· Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and Managers

· Use automated software to assist Project Manager on project tasks and schedule

· Use automated software to ensure client requests and tickets are resolved

· Oversee loading and unloading of goods; inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods

· Assist in delivery goods to project sites

· Assist in taking photos on project sites for marketing purposes

· Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position

· Completed post-secondary education

· Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residency status

· Valid and current Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is an asset

· Ability to be innovative and use cost-effective problem-solving strategies, related to project issues

· Works with a high level of accuracy and quality in all work tasks and able to multitask. Able to deal with high pressure environment and time sensitive requests with urgency.

· Fit-for-Work each day

· Strong computer skills with ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Windows, and other operational ERP software applications, including the use of mobile devices

· Be able to move and carry boxes

· Tenacious self-motivated person, focused on setting goals and exceeding them

· Can learn new digital programs

· Comfortable with using CRM software and social media

· Organized with strong attention to details

· Personable and engaging personality

· Driven, self-starter, go-getter attitude, optimistic

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Good problem solver

· Ability to multi-task

· A team player with high level of dedication

This role will participate in the Digital Skills for Youth Program.
