Project Manager/Deployment & Cutover Lead:
On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for a Project Manager/Deployment & Cutover Lead for a 12 month contract role. This position is onsite at our client's Toronto office.

Project Manager/Deployment & Cutover Lead - Job Description:
The Deployment & Cutover Lead will be instrumental in the Future State Modernization (FSM) program, driving deployment, cutover, and transition activities. The role involves ensuring seamless execution of deployment waves and cutover to new systems with minimal disruption to operations.

Project Manager/Deployment & Cutover Lead - Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive deployment and cutover plan
  • Coordinate and align multiple stakeholders to ensure sequenced activities and managed dependencies
  • Lead dress rehearsals and cutover simulations to validate readiness
  • Oversee migration and validation of data loads and ensure business signoffs
  • Define and track deployment and cutover RAID items, and develop contingency plans
  • Lead Go/No-Go processes ensuring all readiness checkpoints are achieved
  • Oversee hypercare and transition planning for minimal disruption during handover
  • Provide clear status updates and risk mitigation strategies to stakeholders

Project Manager/Deployment & Cutover Lead - Mandatory Skills:

  • 10+ years of program/project management experience
  • Proven track record in leading complex ERP implementations
  • Expertise in cutover management and deployment planning
  • Strong knowledge of data migration strategies and environment readiness
  • Experience leading large cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency with project management tools like Microsoft Project
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills

Project Manager/Deployment & Cutover Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with ERP solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience rolling out solutions from BY, Manhattan WMS, GK POS, Adobe
  • Exposure to Supply Chain, Merchandising, Finance, POS, and Warehouse Management systems
  • Familiarity with change management and business readiness planning
  • Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)

Project Manager/Deployment & Cutover Lead – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, onsite 4 days a week starting Oct 2025 and 5 days a week starting Jan 2026.
