Petsville Animal Hospital is a modern, community-focused veterinary clinic committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for pets and exceptional service for our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our small, supportive, and fast-paced team.

What We're Looking For

We are looking only for serious candidates with previous experience in a veterinary hospital or clinical setting. The ideal applicant will be confident, reliable, and comfortable handling animals in a busy environment.

Mandarin/Chinese speaking candidates will be considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams, treatments, and procedures

Safely restrain animals of all sizes

Prepare exam rooms, maintain cleanliness, and support daily hospital operations

Client communication, appointment coordination, and patient check-ins

Support with laboratory tests, samples, radiographs, and patient monitoring

Maintain inventory and restocking of supplies

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year veterinary industry or animal hospital experience (required)

Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to multitask in a busy environment

Mandarin/Chinese language skills are a strong asset

Veterinary assistant certification is an asset but not required
