Job Description:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the incumbent will provide financial, administrative and analytical support to the programs, special projects and contract activity in the School of Wellness, Public Safety and Community Studies.
The incumbent will be required to assist the Finance Manager with the coordination and development of the operating/capital budget, year-end process and will also be required to provide financial analytical assistance in the various activities of the School, such as contract activity, Early Learning Centre, academic program activity, capital equipment acquisition and enrolment projection/monitoring.
Required Qualifications:Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Accounting or related field;
Minimum of three (3) years of business/budgetary/administration experience, preferably at a post-secondary institution
Experience working in an Academic setting and being familiar with College specific IT Systems;
Experience with Workday, Adaptive Planning and Excel;
Great interpersonal and communication skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
