Precision Laser & Fabrication (PLF) is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to help drive our continued growth. This is a dynamic, hands-on role ideal for someone with metal processing or related manufacturing experience, a passion for customer success, and a mindset rooted in solutions, urgency, and results.

You'll be part of a high-performing sales team that supports customers across Saskatchewan, Alberta, and beyond—helping solve fabrication and supply chain challenges with PLF's wide range of capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities across OEM, industrial, and fabrication markets
• Work closely with the estimating and programming teams to prepare quotes and ensure smooth order execution
• Provide technical insight and product knowledge to help customers select optimal solutions
• Meet or exceed personal and team sales targets in line with PLF's growth plan
• Use PLF's systems (PEP, CAD, and Global Shop) to enter and track inquiries, quotes, and orders
• Collaborate with the purchasing and operations team to align customer needs with internal scheduling and inventory
• Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and customer priorities
• Attend industry events and trade shows to promote PLF's services and network with decision-makers
• Monitor lost sales and provide feedback to improve pricing, service, and execution

• Has proven sales success and experience in metal processing, fabrication, or related industries
• Knowledge of Inventor, AutoCAD, Mastercam, or related systems is an asset
• Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma or related technical education

• Is innovative, driven, and detail-oriented
• Communicates effectively and puts the team and the customer first
• Thrives in a fast-paced, growing business
• Is proactive, resilient, and dependable
• Enjoys learning, improving, and finding new ways to add value
• Understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, forming, machining, or welding
• Experience with ERP systems (Global Shop, PEP) is an asset
