Junior Dispatcher

We are looking for a motivated Junior Dispatcher to support our fleet and operations team by coordinating daily logistics and helping ensure smooth scheduling and communications.

Position Overview:

The Junior Dispatcher will be responsible for supporting fleet operations and scheduling under the guidance of management and senior operations staff. This role is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn about logistics and construction operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in scheduling and dispatching fleet vehicles and equipment

• Communicate with drivers, crew, and management to ensure timely deliveries and

pickups

• Track and document fleet movements, job schedules, and delivery status

• Evening and weekend remote dispatching as needed

• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity and provide updates to management

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, or scheduling is an asset, but not

required

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills

• Comfortable using digital tools for scheduling, routing, and record-keeping

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing priorities

• Physically able to lift up to 45 lbs occasionally

• Familiarity with commercial vehicles or construction equipment is a plus

• High school diploma or equivalent required
