Dermatologie Skin + Hair Solutions is seeking a part-time nurse who is steady, confident, and enjoys a simple, low-stress routine. In this role, you'll primarily perform one core type of injection along with PRP treatments in a relaxed, patient-focused environment. Job Overview:

We are seeking a part-time dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Dermatologie Skin + Hair Solutions in downtown Kelowna, BC. As our patient population grows, this position will lead to more hours if desired. As an LPN, your primary role will be providing quality healthcare services to our hair loss patients. You will work closely with our dermatologist to deliver hair and scalp injections.

The ideal candidate will also be certified to perform phlebotomy and will assist with drawing blood for PRP treatments. In addition, there may be opportunity to administer cosmetic treatments such as laser, chemical peels, Hydrafacials, microneedling, and radiofrequency skin tightening. This position offers a great opportunity to work in a small specialized healthcare setting with plenty of flexibility and very easygoing work environment.

Duties:

  • Provide direct patient care with Kenalog and PRP injections

  • Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans

  • Provide patients with information on cosmetic treatments and over-the-counter products

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care

  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records

  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients

  • Assist front desk staff and UV phototherapy patients when needed

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in the province of BC

  • Experience working with patients in a dermatology or medspa setting is preferred

  • Familiarity with hair loss a plus

  • Phlebotomy certification a plus

  • Experience administering cosmetic injectables such as Botox and Dermal Fillers is a plus

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare

  • Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
