As a part of the Refined Footcare Team, the Medical Esthetician is responsible for providing exceptional care and service to patients and clients while delivering professional dry pedicures and laser treatments. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, disciplined and looking to be part of our exciting journey so based on a long-term partnership with exceptional growth potential.

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides nail care treatments including nail shaping, cuticle care, callous and corn removal, and polish application.
  • Proficiency in nail care techniques including knowledge specific to footcare (warts, callus, fungus, ingrown nails).
  • Experience in laser treatments.
  • Effectively explain treatment to the patient before beginning and offer appropriate enhancements to their overall service experience
  • Is proactive at building a successful medical pedicure business within the clinic where patients are both acquired and retained.
  • Make appropriate recommendations on product purchases to result in exceptional retail sales performance
  • Maintains client records in the EMR.
  • Follow sterile techniques and use of an autoclave to avoid any risk of infection to clients
  • Ensuring treatment area and equipment are all well maintained.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Consults with other allied health care professionals within the clinic to contribute to treatment plans for clients.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification as a Medical Esthetician from a recognized institution in Ontario.
  • Passionate about footcare and helping clients maintain healthy, happy feet.
  • Excellent patient service skills that build loyalty and referrals.
  • Able to work a variety of shifts including days, weekends, and evenings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
