CarePro Home Care Services is currently seeking Caregivers to join our team of committed professionals who show compassion, trust and respect for the people we support. As a caregiver, you will provide on-site support services to people with a disability or illness in their home, and will be responsible for maintaining the safety and dignity of all those you support. Our caregivers are vital members of our team, and the successful candidate will demonstrate a genuine desire to help people and an ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team of professionals.

As a Caregiver, you will provide exceptional care and support to our clients in the community.

Responsibilities:

· Excellent communication skills

· Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

· Perform homemaking tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation

· Accompany clients to appointments and community activities

· Monitor and report changes in client's health and well-being

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or case manager.

· Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for clients and yourself

Requirements:

· Clear Vulnerable Sector Check

· First Aid Certificate

· Reliable mode of transportation

· Completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program or equivalent education and experience

· Dementia care training and experience is preferred

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
