Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automatic Door Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing automatic door systems across various commercial and residential settings. As well as installation of steel doors and frames, wood doors and frames, and other general door related repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a background in construction-related trades, with proficiency in handling a variety of tools and technical schematics. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience and a passion for technical problem-solving to contribute to high-quality installations and service.

Duties

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic door systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installation and maintenance
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as caulking guns, drills, saws, grinders, and concrete drills.
  • Conduct restoration work on existing door systems, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance
  • Follow schematics meticulously during installation or repair processes to ensure system integration etc.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each project

Skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools and construction equipment
  • Experience in construction trades such as access control, carpentry, plumbing, welding, or electrical.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients

This role is ideal for individuals with a background in construction or related trades who are eager to specialize in automatic door systems. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.48-$40.00 per hour
