Job Summary:

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently and with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter, verify, and update data in databases, spreadsheets, and internal systems
  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records of all data entered and ensure data integrity
  • Retrieve data from databases or electronic files as requested
  • Prepare, organize, and sort source documents for data entry
  • Assist with generating reports and performing data backups as needed
  • Follow data confidentiality and security policies at all times
  • Communicate with team members or supervisors to resolve data-related issues
  • Perform other administrative or clerical duties as required

Criteria

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and data management systems
  • Excellent data accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle repetitive tasks with focus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment:

  • Office, 5x/week in Lachine
  • Standard business hours
