We are currently looking for an experienced EMS Vehicle Up-fitter who is a team player with a strong sense of adventure to join us on this journey Your contribution as an experienced EMS Vehicle Up-fitter will make a difference in keeping paramedics and patients safe during emergency transport.About the Role:We offer:Competitive wages, ranging from $35-39 per hour (based on extent of experience)Great work culture and competitive compensation packageNew, state-of-the-art, clean 65,000 sq/ft facilityUniform programMedical & dental benefitsTraining and opportunity for growthOn-site parkingJob Description:Directly reporting to our ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle) Up-fitter Manager, the Automotive Up-fitter will perform tasks including, but not limited to:Installing all equipment required to modify new vehicles into ambulances and emergency vehicles.Routing, installing wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light-bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, and custom consoles.Disassemble and reassemble factory/OEM (original equipment manufacturer) vehiclesReview and comprehend detailed drawings, including electrical schematics, with limited help.Must be comfortable working in an industrial and team settingPerform physical tasks, frequent standing, bending, twisting, and kneeling. Fieldwork may be required on occasion.Maintain accurate records, improve efficiencies, maintain quality workmanship, and contribute ideas that may be beneficial to the teamMust have own commonly used tool supply.
