Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and providing support to various departments. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Office Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office and supporting team members in achieving their goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise office staff and coordinate daily activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries.
- Oversee human resources functions such as payroll processing, employee onboarding, and training & development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Handle clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized office documentation.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee procurement processes for office supplies and services.
- Operate multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while managing incoming calls.
- Assist with budgeting tasks by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports as needed.
- Foster a collaborative team environment through effective communication and team management practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role with a focus on office management is preferred.
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for bookkeeping purposes is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in human resources functions including payroll processing is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Previous experience with clerical tasks such as filing and document management is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.51-$23.73 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
