Position Overview:

We are seeking an
experienced Business Development Coordinator
who understands the
Nova Scotia market
and the
logistics industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with local companies, and helping expand our B2B delivery network.

You'll play a key role in growing our client base, improving service partnerships, and supporting overall sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential business clients in Nova Scotia.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, government departments, and logistics partners.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategic sales and partnership plans.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the operations and dispatch teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new business clients.
  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
  • Support marketing activities, events, and promotions aimed at business acquisition.
  • Track, analyze, and report sales performance and pipeline growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2–3 years of proven experience
    in business development, preferably in logistics, transportation, or delivery services.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Nova Scotia's business landscape
    and local market trends.
  • Excellent
    communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and presentation software.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
