Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Cabinet Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design and construction, with expertise in designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, utilizing various design software to create detailed plans and visualizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to determine their kitchen design preferences, requirements, and budget.
  • Utilize design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed cabinet layouts and 3D renderings.
  • Prepare project documentation including contracts, specifications, and budgets.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
  • Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather measurements for accurate designs.
  • Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, color theory, and lighting design to enhance the overall kitchen aesthetic.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors throughout the renovation or remodeling process to ensure designs are executed as planned.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and technologies related to kitchen design.

Experience

  • Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field such as interior design or construction.
  • Proficiency in design software including SketchUp, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects from concept through completion.
  • Knowledge of drafting techniques and CAD applications is essential.
  • Familiarity with renovation processes, lighting sales, budgeting practices, and construction methods is highly desirable.
