- Conseil en assurance et gestion des risques
- Effectuer des examens des assurances et des risques avant et après la clôture des transactions immobilières commerciales, en veillant à leur conformité aux exigences des prêteurs.
- Collaborer avec les prêteurs, emprunteurs, propriétaires d'actifs, promoteurs, courtiers en assurance et équipes juridiques pour examiner les documents d'assurance.
- Identifier, évaluer et recommander des solutions pour les risques liés aux assurances.
- Superviser le renouvellement des assurances opérationnelles et de construction, effectuer des examens et des négociations d'assurance pour les clients, en veillant à l'alignement avec les normes d'INTECH et de l'industrie.
- Assister les clients dans la gestion des réclamations, en offrant des mises à jour et un soutien stratégique en temps opportun.
- Examiner et négocier les clauses d'assurance dans les contrats, baux et accords importants.
- Analyser les accords de projet pour évaluer les programmes d'assurance et l'exposition aux risques.
- Rédiger des rapports détaillés de diligence raisonnable et des analyses de risques pour les clients.
- Gérer des appels d'offres (RFP) pour des courtiers en assurance au nom des clients.
- Tenir des dossiers précis et préparer des rapports mensuels sur l'état des dossiers.
- Service client et gestion des relations
- Agir comme principal point de contact pour les clients, en fournissant des conseils experts en gestion des risques et assurances.
- Superviser les programmes d'assurance des clients et garantir leur conformité aux normes réglementaires et d'entreprise.
- Anticiper les besoins des clients et assurer un service de haute qualité.
- Organiser régulièrement des rencontres avec les clients et participer à des événements de réseautage pour renforcer les relations professionnelles.
- Développement des affaires et expansion du marché
- Identifier et développer de nouvelles opportunités d'affaires à Montréal et dans les marchés environnants.
- Préparer et présenter des propositions, des appels d'offres (RFP) et des demandes de qualification (RFQ) pour obtenir de nouveaux projets.
- Représenter INTECH lors de conférences industrielles, événements de réseautage et forums d'affaires.
- Partager les tendances du marché et les risques émergents avec les équipes internes pour orienter la croissance stratégique.
- Politiques, documentation et conformité
- S'assurer que toute la documentation client est à jour, exacte et stockée de manière sécurisée.
- Superviser la répartition des tâches au sein de l'équipe, en veillant à l'efficacité et au respect des délais.
- Maintenir et mettre en œuvre des protocoles de sécurité des données en conformité avec les politiques de l'entreprise.
- Formation et développement du leadership
- Offrir du mentorat et du coaching aux membres juniors de l'équipe.
- Participer à un développement professionnel continu pour rester à l'avant-garde des tendances du secteur.
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (écrit et oral) requise.
- Diplôme universitaire ou collégial en administration des affaires, finance, gestion des risques ou domaine connexe.
- Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en conseil, services financiers, assurance ou gestion des risques.
- Excellentes compétences analytiques, organisationnelles et en communication.
- Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités dans un environnement dynamique axé sur le client.
- Connaissance approfondie des assurances des biens commerciaux et des assurances responsabilité civile, y compris l'interruption des affaires, l'assurance chantier (builder's risk) et l'assurance wrap-up.
- Expérience en immobilier commercial, prêt commercial ou assurance construction.
- Familiarité avec les systèmes de gestion des données et outils de reporting.

We provide conflict-free advisory services to lenders, asset managers, investors, government authorities, and developers across multiple industries, including real estate, infrastructure, energy, healthcare, and communications. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to lead and grow our Insurance Consulting Services in Montreal, Quebec. This role will serve as the primary representative for INTECH in the region, providing expert guidance to clients, managing relationships, and driving business development. Key Responsibilities Insurance Advisory & Risk Management · Conduct pre- and post-closing insurance and risk reviews for commercial real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with lender requirements. · Liaise with lenders, borrowers, asset owners, developers, insurance brokers, and legal teams to review insurance documents. · Identify, assess, and recommend solutions for insurance-related risks. · Oversee operational and construction insurance renewals, conduct insurance reviews and negotiations on behalf of clients, ensuring alignment with INTECH's and industry standards. · Assist clients with claims management, offering timely updates and strategic support. · Review and negotiate insurance terms in contracts, leases, and material agreements. · Analyze project agreements to assess insurance programs and risk exposure. · Draft detailed due diligence reports and risk analyses for clients. · Conduct Insurance Broker RFPs on behalf of clients. · Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly status reports. Client Services & Relationship Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert insurance and risk management oversee client insurance programs and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. Anticipate client needs, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Conduct regular client meetings and networking events to strengthen partnerships. Business Development & Market Expansion · Identify and develop new business opportunities in Montreal and surrounding markets. · Prepare and present proposals, RFPs, and RFQs to secure new projects. · Represent INTECH at industry conferences, networking events, and business forums. · Share market insights and emerging risks with internal teams to inform strategic growth. Policy, Documentation & Compliance · Ensure all client documentation is current, accurate, and securely stored. · Oversee team workload distribution, ensuring efficiency and compliance with deadlines. · Maintain and implement data security protocols in alignment with company policies. · Training & Leadership Development · Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members. · Engage in continuous professional development, staying ahead of industry trends. Qualifications & Experience Required · Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required. · Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, finance, risk management, or a related field. · Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting, financial services, insurance, or risk management. · Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
