Healthcare Security Specialist

The role of a Healthcare Security Specialist is to oversee the security and safety of patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare setting. This involves monitoring and responding to critical systems, including CCTV, access control, and life safety alarms.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor multiple security systems, including fire and life safety, CCTV, and access control
  • Coordinate response to emergencies and incidents, dispatching personnel as necessary
  • Accurately log and document all radio transmissions, calls, and activity reports
  • Control access to restricted areas
  • Coordinate support and escalate major incidents to management
  • Provide effective communication and situational awareness to hospital staff, patients, and visitors

To excel in this role, you must be a detail-oriented professional with strong multitasking, communication, and situational awareness skills, able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record in security operations, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of security policies and standard operating procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
