What you'll do

You will be tasked to develop solutions that will solve a business problem and then write and create creative code that solves the problem.  You will have leadership and direction from consultants, Directors and senior developers to give you feedback.  By the end of the term, you should be surprising us with your solutions.

Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic, agile, clean-code-loving developer to join our team and help us develop amazing software. We need a co-op to assist us in delivering our proprietary implementation methodology to our clients.

Responsibilities

You will be required to:

Develop solutions in the following lines of business:

ServicesProducts IntegrationPotentially develop iOS and Android applicationsPotentially develop Microsoft and other framework based applicationsUnderstand business logic and from there write new software code, troubleshoot and make modifications to existing software code, or integrate software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, created in partnership with consultantsParticipate in planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work.Provide timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to supervisorDevelop code using disciplined code development processes, adhering to software best practice guidelines, and corporate policies.Ability to engage customers, negotiate sensible and favorable requirements, execute design documentation, communication of understanding and results.Work with the consulting team and the clients to resolve issues uncovered during integration and user acceptance testing.Create, review, and maintain all required technical documentation/ manual related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse.Assist in the identification and implementation of short-term and long-term solution options, including risk assessments.Assist with improvements to prevent problems, including problem resolution workflow.

Qualifications and Skills

Nice to have: Strong NetSuite programming, business, and administrator know-howNice to have: Experience in SuiteBuilder, SuiteScript and SuiteScript API,
SuiteBundler, SuiteFlow and SuiteTalkFamiliarity with Eclipse IDESuiteTax API know-how a great plusUnderstanding of the NetSuite SAFE practicesPreferred to have experience with NetSuite Plug-in model for
customization.Designing applications and familiar with design patternsProficient in NetSuite Scripting for the NetSuite ERP PlatformWorking knowledge or experience on integration platforms such as Celigo ), Dell Boomi, SPS etc is considered an asset.

Salary Range

Competitive based on past experience and program.

Travel

Willingness to travel, the position requires minimal travel to the US.
