Job Description

Vention is seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior Global Logistics Manager to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of our logistics network across North America, Europe, and emerging regions.

Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), this role combines strategic leadership and operational depth. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in e-commerce and automation logistics, a proven ability to drive logistics reliability, and deep understanding of trade compliance and global regulations.

Vention's logistics operations are well established and ready to scale. Your mandate is to extend and elevate this foundation—expanding capacity, improving reliability, and integrating systems and partners across regions. You will lead logistics leaders and shippers in North America and EMEA, ensuring that logistics performance directly supports customer commitments and company growth.

Global Leadership & Network Strategy

  • Lead and develop regional logistics leaders and shippers across North America and EMEA, ensuring unified execution of the global logistics strategy.
  • Define and implement Vention's global logistics roadmap, aligning speed, cost, and reliability targets with company growth.
  • Build scalable logistics processes and infrastructure that integrate seamlessly with planning, fulfillment, and customer operations.
  • Drive collaboration and best practice sharing between regional teams to ensure global alignment.

Reliability & Performance

  • Establish and manage logistics KPIs for cost, delivery speed, and service reliability.
  • Ensure back-end logistics execution consistently supports front-end customer commitments and SLAs.
  • Drive real-time visibility and proactive problem solving across global logistics operations.
  • Embed reliability and responsiveness as core performance metrics for all carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams.

Transportation & Shipper Management

  • Oversee all transportation modes—parcel, freight, LTL, FTL, air, and ocean—across inbound, outbound, and last-mile networks.
  • Lead carrier selection, contract negotiation, and performance management to ensure cost-effective and reliable shipping.
  • Lead regional shippers and logistics coordinators to deliver consistent execution and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Finance to manage freight budgets, forecasts, and savings initiatives.

Trade Compliance & Global Regulations

  • Navigate and interpret tariffs, HS codes, and evolving global trade regulations to ensure compliance and cost optimization.
  • Oversee customs brokerage, documentation, and regulatory adherence across all lanes. Stay ahead of global trade developments (EU, UK, USMCA, APAC) and assess their impact on cost, lead time, and logistics strategy.
  • Educate internal stakeholders on global trade considerations that affect pricing, fulfillment, and supply chain efficiency.

Systems, Data & Continuous Improvement

  • Leverage ERP, WMS, and TMS systems to improve automation, visibility, and control.
  • Lead integration and data improvement initiatives with internal and external partners.
  • Implement Lean and continuous improvement programs across global logistics operations.
  • Develop analytics and dashboards that drive insight, accountability, and proactive decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain, including multi-region or global scope.
  • Proven experience building and scaling logistics networks in e-commerce and automation or industrial sectors.
  • Expertise in transportation, trade compliance, carrier management, and customs processes.
  • Strong understanding of global trade frameworks, HS codes, and tariffs.
  • Demonstrated success in linking logistics reliability to customer satisfaction and commercial performance.
  • Proficiency with ERP, WMS, and TMS systems; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an asset. A builder-leader who can operate strategically while staying deeply connected to day-to-day execution.
