Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for customers bringing their units (motorcycles, ATV, UTV, snowmobiles, jetskis, boat motors, etc) in for service or repair. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing sales opportunities while completing detailed records.

Duties:

  • Greet customers and assist them with their service needs

  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them

  • Provide recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on dealership guidelines, technician recommendations and customer needs

  • Upsell additional services or products to enhance the customer experience

  • Schedule appointments and communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicle

  • Complete warranty claims and recalls

-Communicate effectively with Vendor Representatives when required

  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely completion of repairs

  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments received

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions

  • Excellent upselling skills to promote additional services or products

  • Proficient in cash handling procedures

  • Exceptional customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers

  • Sales skills to effectively communicate repair recommendations and benefits to customers

  • Familiarity with powersports and repair processes and terminology
