We're looking for a Graphic Designer & Video Content Creator who can bring ideas to life visually and help expand our brand presence across digital and in-store platforms.

Position Overview:

The Graphic Designer & Video Content Creator will design engaging visuals, capture on-site content, and produce high-quality videos for social media and marketing campaigns. This is a full-time in-office role, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role requires hands-on camera skills and occasional travel between store locations — therefore, a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce creative content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Plan, film, and edit professional videos for brand campaigns, ads, and product showcases
  • Operate DSLR or mirrorless cameras and studio lighting equipment effectively
  • Capture on-site photos and videos at Near Nerd store locations as needed
  • Create marketing and print materials such as posters, signage, and promotional graphics
  • Develop short-form vertical videos (Reels/TikTok) with strong storytelling and pacing
  • Collaborate with management to brainstorm and execute creative campaigns
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visual materials

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design and/or video production
  • Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and framing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Express, or Canva/CapCut
  • Experience creating short-form content for social media platforms
  • Strong sense of composition, typography, and visual storytelling
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with tech repair or electronics retail
  • Understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
  • Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset

Employment Type:

Full-time, on-site (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
