Job Overview

We are currently hiring a Gas Jockey / Gas Attendant to join our team at our brand-new Petro-Canada location at 4820 Portage Avenue in Headingley, Manitoba. This is a customer-facing role that requires reliability, professionalism, and strong customer service skills. Successful candidates will help ensure a safe, friendly, and efficient experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full-service or assisted fuel service to customers
  • Greet customers in a friendly, professional manner
  • Process cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately
  • Assist customers with basic questions and directions
  • Maintain cleanliness of the fuel islands and surrounding property
  • Perform safety checks and follow all fuel handling procedures
  • Assist with light restocking and general site cleanliness
  • Report equipment issues, spills, or safety concerns immediately
  • Work safely in all weather conditions

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous fuel station, retail, or customer service experience is an asset (but not required)
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • MUST Submit Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
