Role Description

This full-time on-site role in Kenora, ON, is for a Security Guard. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining safety and security by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry. They will also respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, control traffic by directing drivers, and complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities
  • Experience in Physical Security, Personnel Security, and Private Security
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training is a plus
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including walking, standing, and lifting
  • Valid security guard license as per local regulations
