Customer Service Representative (Independent Contractor Contract – Hybrid, 30 hours/week)

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid – In Office Wednesdays)

About the Role:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and empathetic Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team as an Independent Contractor contract basis through our busy peak season. You'll play an important role in supporting our Customer Experience department by responding to customer inquiries, triaging escalations, and helping manage online reviews.

This is a hybrid position, with one in-office day on Wednesdays. The initial training week will be conducted primarily in office to ensure you're fully set up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and escalations in a timely and professional manner
  • Triage incoming tickets to ensure they reach the correct internal teams for resolution
  • Monitor and assist with online reviews and social feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and resolutions
  • Support team goals to improve response time and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with operations and management teams as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or support role (email/chat preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with ticketing or CRM systems (e.g., Freshdesk, Zendesk, or similar) is an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English) is a strong advantage
  • Available to work approximately 30 hours per week until January 1, 2026

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
