Waterloo, Ontario
, on a mission to make financial wellness accessible for every Canadian employee.

We partner directly with employers to offer
on-demand pay
and smart budgeting tools that help workers manage their cash flow responsibly — no payday loans, no debt traps, just financial freedom.

After completing our Early Adoption Program with companies across Ontario and Alberta, we're scaling rapidly and expanding our product team in our Waterloo and newly opened Toronto office.

The Role

We're looking for a
Front-End Developer (FinTech)
to help shape the future of Swift Wellness's employee and employer experience. You'll work closely with our
CTO, product team, and back-end engineers
to deliver seamless, modern interfaces across both web and mobile.

You'll:

  • Build and refine responsive, high-performance front-end experiences using
    , React Native, and Tailwind CSS
    .
  • Develop intuitive dashboards and workflows for employees (financial tools) and employers (program analytics).
  • Collaborate with the back-end team to integrate secure APIs and real-time payroll data.
  • Optimize for accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser consistency.
  • Maintain a reusable component library and design system aligned with Swift Wellness's brand.
  • Participate in product design discussions, bringing a UX-first mindset to feature planning.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience building production-grade front-end or full-stack applications.
  • Strong command of
    React /
    and modern
    TypeScript
    practices.
  • Experience with
    React Native
    or mobile cross-platform frameworks.
  • Excellent design sense — you care about typography, spacing, and user experience.
  • Familiarity with
    fintech, SaaS, or HR/payroll systems
    is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
