Job Overview

Building relationships, peer support, aiding clients in adhering to wellness plans, assisting in group facilitation, assisting clients in maintaining abstinence from substance use, general housekeeping, meal prep and schedule, and documentation of events and daily report.

Duties

  • Maintain harmony within the community using de-escalation techniques and positive communication.
  • Maintain area cleanliness.
  • Monitor clients and follow day-shift flowchart cleaning schedule.
  • Fill out med sheets and adhere to medication schedule with clients.
  • Disperse meals to clients and mark dates on the extras and put them in the fridge.
  • Take detailed notes in client binder for the case manager.
  • Facilitate and support groups as needed.
  • Update resident white board with date, groups, events, and reminders.
  • Support clients if they need to chat and notify case managers with any concerns.
  • Follow all guidance provided by case managers and site managers regarding clients and procedures.
  • The goal of this position is to provide extra support to make the site run smoothly and help contribute to the needs of the clients.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, lived experience, or previous work experience in the field.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with lived experience.
  • Facilitation of wellness groups is an asset. Expertise in an area of wellness is an asset.
  • Food safe certificate.
  • First aid certificate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
