WordPress Developer – Full-Time (Müller Expo Services International)
Overview
Müller Expo Services International is seeking a talented and innovative WordPress Developer to join our marketing team full-time, working in-office from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. In this role, you will manage and update our websites, and develop new sites that become strong digital assets for the company. You'll help create visually engaging, highly functional WordPress sites that align with our brand identity and business objectives. Duties
- Develop, customize, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to translate wireframes and user flows into fully responsive websites.
- Implement SEO best practices to ensure websites achieve high visibility in search engines.
- Maintain website security, perform regular updates, backups, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Integrate third-party APIs and web services, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Use front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and AJAX to create engaging user interfaces.
- Manage version control with GitHub or SVN, supporting Agile development workflows.
- Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across devices.
- Contribute to system architecture planning and scalable solutions using Docker, AWS, or Azure.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of code changes, workflows, and technical specifications.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience developing WordPress websites, including theme customization and plugin development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, React, Angular, AJAX, JSON, XML.
- Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, or MongoDB.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, or GraphQL for external data integration.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, containerization (Docker), automation (Ansible), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and UX/UI-focused web design techniques.
- Experience with version control (GitHub/SVN) and Agile SDLC processes (Scrum/Kanban).
- Proficiency with wireframing tools to plan user flows and interface layouts.
- Experience with other CMS platforms like Drupal is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and teamwork skills.
