We are seeking a skilled and experienced (min 5 years)Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be adept at working in industrial settings. This role requires an individual who can read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot electrical issues, and perform installations and repairs with precision. The Industrial Electrician will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our operations.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an industrial environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
  • Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Work with low and high voltage equipment.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
  • Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to ensure electrical systems meet specifications.
  • Program and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) as needed.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role within the industry.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems and their applications in industrial settings.
  • Experience in construction or renovation projects is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
