Job Description

  • Work Term: Full time and part time position available
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma
  • Transportation: Must be able to transport yourself between job sites with equipment- own vehicle is required
  • Experience: 6 months- 1 year housekeeping considered an asset
  • Hiring 2 candidates

Work Setting:

  • Private residence
  • Airbnb's
  • Apartment/condominium complex
  • new build construction properties

Schedule:

  • Flexible hours, between the hours of 7am-5pm Monday to Friday with the opportunity to work the occasional weekend

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma an asset.
  • Experience in Housekeeping and air bnbs an asset.
  • Criminal record check upon hire is mandatory.
  • Ability to work day time hours and occasional weekend shifts.
  • Ability to lift, carry & move 11 to 29 pounds.
  • Ability to tolerate cleaning chemicals.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem solve and make decisions in support of superior guest service.
  • Ability to communicate with management and team members in a concise, clear and empathetic manner.
  • First Aid certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in English

Work Tasks:

  • Vacuum, mop, and polish floors
  • Dusting
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet
  • Laundry
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
  • Wash windows, walls and baseboards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
