Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where teamwork and food safety are paramount. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to ensure you succeed in your role.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pizza dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
  • Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Assist in meal assembly and presentation to ensure attractive and timely service
  • Adhere to food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage and labeling of ingredients
  • Support team members in delivering excellent food service to customers

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
  • Basic understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices
  • Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team
