Job Summary:
At Blossom Dental Centre, we are a dedicated dental practice in providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and professional environment. We strive to create a positive and welcoming dental experience and focus on patient care. We are looking for a dental administrator with experience, to add to our team.
As a dental administrator, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of our clinic. This position requires both reception and clinical knowledge, expertise in financial processes, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the dental office including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Handle appointment booking and confirmation.
- Oversee billing and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and maintain commitment to professional standards through proper handling of sensitive information.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with dental staff to establish strong patient relationships and excellent patient care and satisfaction while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
- Thorough understanding of practice health and safety requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience in dental office administration.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Proficient in billing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience managing a team in clinical settings.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Cleardent is preferred
