The Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented multitasker with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We're looking for a Coordinator, Business Operations to join our dynamic utility operations team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of day-to-day business activities—from managing our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to supporting accounts payable, fleet, and expense management. You'll also play a key role in administrative support and special projects that drive continuous improvement across the organization.
What You Will Do
- Maintain and improve the CMMS, including upgrades and system enhancements.
- Support accounts payable processes: vendor payments, month-end tasks, and reporting.
- Assist in fleet and expense management activities.
- Provide general administrative support for utility operations and strategic projects.
- Participate in developing operational procedures, contractor agreements, invoices, and performance reports (KPIs).
- Contribute to asset management initiatives, including registry development and monthly maintenance tracking.
- Draft and coordinate reviews of process documentation.
- Analyze operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Organize and manage electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring compliance with document retention policies.
- Perform other related duties as needed to support the team.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related administrative roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and produce clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
