Position Details

• Position: Concrete Formworker

• Location: Guelph, ON (projects across Southern Ontario)

• Employment Type: Full-Time

• Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

• Build, set up, and strip concrete formwork for walls, columns, footings, slabs, and other structures.

• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and site instructions.

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials such as wood, metal, and plywood for forms.

• Install rebar, anchor bolts, and embedded materials as required.

• Place and finish concrete to meet company and client standards.

• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.

• Work collaboratively with crew members and report to the Foreman or Site Supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in concrete formwork or carpentry.

• Strong knowledge of formwork systems (PERI, Doka, EFCO, or traditional methods).

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and layouts.

• Physically fit and able to perform demanding labour tasks.

• Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.

• WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications are required.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
