Managed by RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust, the mall opened in 1981 and is the only large indoor shopping center in the town. It features over 100 retailers, including major department stores like Hudson's Bay, alongside a diverse selection of fashion, jewelry, beauty, and home goods stores.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a strategic mindset, and extensive experience in B2B sales, marketing, and customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and implement innovative sales strategies across various industries including technology and technical sales. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's market presence and expanding our client base through effective business development and account management.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts
- Manage key client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Identify new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and industry research
- Oversee the sales pipeline using CRM tools such as Salesforce to track progress and forecast revenue
- Conduct negotiations with clients to close deals that align with company objectives
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support sales initiatives
- Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations to team members to foster professional growth
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and inform strategic decisions
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility
Skills
- Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on technology or technical products preferred
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles and customer service excellence
- Expertise in outside sales strategies with a track record of successful business development
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for account management and analysis
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively
- Analytical skills to interpret sales metrics and market data for strategic planning
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing sales team
- Effective communication skills for engaging with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
