Our client is a specialized manufacturer, and a strategic leader within their industrial sector.

Our client is seeking an
Electrical Engineer
to provide company-wide support across their manufacturing sites in Eastern & Western Canada. This role works closely with sales and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges. Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and overseeing electrical systems, preparing technical drawings and reports, providing expert advice and installation support, and collaborating across departments to deliver effective, customer-focused solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers and the sales team as needed.
  • Supervise and provide hands-on technical assistance during customer installations when required.
  • Create, maintain, and update product specifications, drawings, and technical data sheets.
  • Develop and deliver technical training sessions for customers and employees — including Lunch & Learns or on-site visits with the pre-insulated sales team to engineering firms and mining contractors.
  • Offer expert electrical product guidance and recommendations for pre-insulated systems. Contribute to the design and enhancement of new and existing products to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Collaborate on complex projects requiring advanced technical expertise beyond the scope of the sales team.
  • Review major project submissions to support and expedite engineering approvals.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • PENG Designation would be ideal, but in process of working toward this is also acceptable
  • 5 years of experience in electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for design and documentation purposes.
  • Experience providing technical support on-site.
  • Willingness to travel and work at customer sites as required (less than 10% annually).
  • Strong customer service mindset with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Skilled at managing priorities and organizing workload effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office products & experience with SAP or similar management software
  • Solution-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid passport for occasional travel.
