Job Summary:
The
Intel Server Support Specialist
provides advanced technical expertise in
VMware, Microsoft Server Administration, and Azure cloud infrastructure
. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise server environments to ensure secure and stable system performance. The ideal candidate possesses hands-on experience in virtualization, hybrid cloud management, and technical documentation, with a focus on proactive maintenance and user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform
Azure and Windows Server administration
, ensuring optimal uptime and performance. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot
VMware environments
and related virtualized systems. - Manage and monitor system security, including
permissions, access control, and configuration hardening
. - Provide
technical support and incident resolution
for server and application issues. - Conduct
routine system maintenance
, updates, and performance tuning. - Create detailed
technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures
. - Deliver
user training
and support on new systems, tools, and software updates. - Collaborate with IT teams to deploy and integrate new infrastructure solutions.
- Participate in
on-call rotation
and perform overtime work as needed to meet operational demands.
Mandatory Certification:
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
— Required
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience
in VMware administration, Azure, and Microsoft Server management. - Proven background in
system administration, cloud operations, and virtualization
. - Hands-on experience supporting
Microsoft Server, Azure, and VMware
environments. - Strong understanding of
security management
and system hardening practices. - Experience producing
technical documentation
and end-user training materials. - Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues independently.
